Every facial and peel starts with a look at your actual skin. Oily and congested gets a different protocol than dry and reactive — the wrong one is a wasted hour.

A medical facial typically runs 45 to 60 minutes: cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, hydration and a soothing mask. A peel applies a solution whose strength is set to your goals.

Little to none for most. Some peels bring light flaking, which is temporary. Deeper peels can need a few weeks, and you hear that before you book, not after.

What is the difference between a facial and a medical facial?
A facial cleans, exfoliates and nourishes the skin. A medical facial is customized to your skin’s needs and uses medical-grade products and techniques that reach deeper layers than an over-the-counter facial, combining exfoliation, extraction, hydration and targeted serums.
How much downtime does a chemical peel have?
Most clients describe little to no downtime. A lunchtime peel means light flaking for a few days and you go back to work. Go deeper and it peels more visibly and wants a weekend. Deeper peels again can need a few weeks of recovery, and you will hear that before you book rather than afterwards.
Who is a good candidate for a medical facial or peel?
You may be a good candidate if you struggle with acne, scarring or breakouts, notice dullness, dryness or uneven tone, want a non-invasive refresh, or want anti-aging treatment without downtime. Your skin type and goals are evaluated first, and the plan is built from that.
When will I see results?
Results are visible shortly after treatment, with brighter, smoother and healthier-looking skin. With consistent treatments you notice cumulative improvement in clarity, tone and texture.
